Broadway's Chicago has announced that it will welcome Tony Award nominee Christopher Sieber in his return to the show beginning tonight, December 12, at the Ambassador Theatre. Sieber takes over the role of Billy Flynn from Paul Alexander Nolan, who played his final performance on December 11.

A Broadway mainstay, Sieber's roles include Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Into the Woods, and, most recently, Matilda The Musical.

Chicago also currently stars Dylis Croman as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, NaTasha Yvette Williams as Matron "Mama" Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. As previously announced, Mel B will step into the role of Roxie Hart, beginning December 28.

Featuring classic tunes by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into a barrage of sensational headlines. Recipient of six 1997 Tony Awards, the revival is directed by Walter Bobbie.
