Chita Rivera and Audra McDonald Add Performances to Broadway @ Series
Two-time Tony winner Chita Rivera has announced two additional concert dates to join the Broadway @ series' spring lineup.
Rivera will perform at Las Vegas’ Smith Center on April 30 and Philadelphia’s Kimmel Center on June 3, following her previously announced April 29 performance at San Francisco’s Nourse Theater.
Six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald has also announced Broadway @ concert dates at London’s Leicester Square Theater from April 12-15 with special guest Will Swenson (McDonald's husband, currently appearing in Broadway's Waitress). She is also set for performances at Los Angeles’ Wallis Annenberg Center on May 11 and Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre on May 22.
As was also previously announced, two-time Tony winner Patti LuPone joins Broadway @ this spring with her one-night benefit concert Deconstructing Patti: An Evening of Broadway Songs and Stories With Patti LuPone and Seth Rudetsky. The performances will be held on May 14 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Each of the concerts will be accompanied by Sirius XM radio star and long-time series host Seth Rudetsky.
