Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Helps The View Celebrate Halloween

Christian Borle takes his Willy Wonka to television.

In honor of Halloween, Christian Borle, Emily Padgett, John Rubenstein, and the stars of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory sang a pair of numbers on TV's The View. Watch them perform the classics "I've Got a Golden Ticket" and "The Candy Man" below.

Based on the classic Roald Dahl novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, with music and lyrics by Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award winner Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Grammy and Tony Award winner Scott Wittman, a book by David Greig, and choreography by Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Joshua Bergasse. The production includes additional songs by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley from the 1971 Warner Bros. motion picture. It opened April 23.
