Broadway Flea Market Set to Take Over Shubert Alley

The annual event benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Today marks the 30th annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, which will take place on Shubert Alley, West 44th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue, from 10am-7pm.

Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction is an outdoor market where theater fans have the opportunity to take home one-of-a-kind show-biz memorabilia, meet Broadway stars, and bid throughout the day on exclusive Broadway items from props and costume pieces to backstage experiences.

Stars set to appear at this year's autograph table and photo booth, on the deck of Junior's restaurant at Shubert Alley and West 45th Street from 11am-3pm, include current Broadway performers Alex Brightman (School of Rock), Danny Burstein (Fiddler on the Roof), Haven Burton (Kinky Boots), Leanne Cope (An American in Paris), Jason Danieley (Chicago), Jennifer DiNoia (Wicked), Jordan Donica (The Phantom of the Opera), Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton), Ali Ewoldt (The Phantom of the Opera), Aaron C. Stars of the upcoming Broadway season will also attend the Flea Market, including Christy Altomare (Anastasia), Richard H. Blake (A Bronx Tale – The Musical), John Bolton (Anastasia), Ariana DeBose (A Bronx Tale – The Musical), Joel Grey (The Cherry Orchard), Rachel Bay Jones (Dear Evan Hansen), Celia Keenan-Bolger (The Cherry Orchard), Derek Klena (Anastasia), Mary Beth Peil (Les Liaisons Dangereuses), Ben Platt (Dear Evan Hansen), and Jennifer Laura Thompson (Dear Evan Hansen).

Returning Autograph Table host Jim Caruso of Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland will welcome stars of this December's NBC production of Hairspray Live!, including Tony Award winners Harvey Fierstein and Jerry Mitchell, School of Rock's Shahadi Wright Joseph, and newcomer Maddie Baillio, who will be making her debut as Tracy Turnblad.

The live auction begins at 5pm. For the first time in several years, the Grand Auction will be back in Shubert Alley. New silent auctions will start every 30 minutes throughout the day.
