Actor-comedian Bob Saget (Full House) will join the Broadway cast of Hand to God on November 3, taking on the role of Pastor Greg from Marc Kudisch. Kudisch, who originated the role on Broadway, departs the company on November 1 to begin production on Baritones Unbound!, a play he conceived and cowrote that will be presented at the Royal George Theatre in Chicago.

Saget returns to Broadway for the first time since he played Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone. His stage credits also include Paul Weitz's off-Broadway dark comedy Privilege. On-screen, Saget played Danny Tanner on Full House and served as the original host of America's Funniest Home Videos. Saget will next be seen on-screen in the Netflix series Fuller House.

Written by Robert Askins and directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, Hand to God tells the story of Jason, a young member of the Christian Puppet Ministry in Cypress, Texas, whose life is thrown into chaos when Tyrone, his hand puppet, takes on a dangerous personality of his own.

The rest of the cast comprises Steven Boyer as Jason/Tyrone, Geneva Carr as Margery, Sarah Stiles as Jessica, and Michael Oberholtzer as Timmy. Boyer, Carr, and Stiles were nominated for Tonys for their performances, as were director von Stuelpnagel and playwright Askins. The creative team for Hand to God includes scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costumes by Sydney Maresca, lighting by Jason Lyons, sound by Jill B.C. Du Boff, puppet design by Marte Johanne Ekhougen, and fight directior by Robert Westley.

Hand to God will end its Broadway run on January 3 and transfer to London's Vaudeville Theatre beginning February 5.
