Andréa Burns to Play Final Performance in Broadway's On Your Feet!

Original Broadway cast member Doreen Montalvo will take over the role of Gloria Estefan’s mother.

Drama Desk Award winner Andréa Burns, who originated the role of Gloria Estefan's mother, Gloria Fajardo, in Broadway's On Your Feet!, will play her final performance on February 5. Original Broadway cast member Doreen Montalvo is set to take over the role beginning February 7.

On Your Feet! is a bio-musical about the lives of Gloria and Emilio Estefan. Directed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell and choreographed by Olivier Award winner Sergio Trujillo, the musical features a book by Academy Award winner Alexander Dinelaris as well as Estefan's chart-topping hits like "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You," "1-2-3," and "Conga," in addition to new music penned by the Estefans.

The production stars Ana Villafañe as Estefan and Ektor Rivera as Emilio. Making up the rest of the cast are Alma Cuervo as Consuelo, Alexandria Suarez and Fabi Aguirre as Little Gloria, and Eduardo Hernandez and Kevin Tellez as Nayib and Young Emilio. Rounding out the ensemble are Karmine Alers, Yassmin Alers, David Baida, Angelica Beliard, Natalie Caruncho, Henry Gainza, Linedy Genao, Carlos E. Gonzalez, Nina Lafarga, Genny Lis Padilla, Christie Prades, Omar Lopez-Cepero, Hector Maisonet, Marielys Molina, Julio Monge, Liz Ramos, Jeremey Adam Rey, Eliseo Roman, Jose Rosario Jr., Luis Salgado, Jennifer Sanchez, Martín Solá, Brett Sturgis, Shani Talmor, and Lee Zarrett.
