Broadway's An American in Paris Welcomes a New Leading Man

The production has found its latest Jerry Mulligan.

Dimitri Kleioris assumes the leading character of Jerry Mulligan in Broadway's An American in Paris beginning tonight, July 19. Kleioris has been performing the role at various performances since joining the company in March. He replaces Garen Scribner, who will go on to lead the show's national tour.

Additionally, the musical welcomes back Nathan Madden, who will play Jerry Mulligan at various performances beginning this week. Current cast member Allison Walsh will take on the role of Lise Dassin at various performances starting this week, as well. Leanne Cope continues as Lise full-time.

An American in Paris is directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon. Inspired by the Oscar-winning film, the show features music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin and a book by Craig Lucas. The production officially opened April 12, 2015, at the Palace Theatre.

The current company also includes 2015 Tony nominees Max von Essen and Brandon Uranowitz, as well as Jill Paice and Veanne Cox.
