Guy Boyd will take over the role of "Charlie Aiken" in the Broadway production of Tracy Letts' multiple award-winning play August: Osage County, currently running at the Music Box Theatre, on December 16. He replaces Robert Foxworth.

Boyd has previously appeared on Broadway in Sex & Longing and Rose, while his Off-Broadway credits include Stone Cold Dead Serious, American Sligo, The Late Henry Moss, and Betty's Summer Vacation.

August: Osage County focuses on the Weston family following the disappearance of the family's patriarch. It is directed by Anna D. Shapiro, and also stars John Cullum, Johanna Day, Scott Jaeck, Brian Kerwin, Madeleine Martin, Michael Milligan, Estelle Parsons, Dee Pelletier, Molly Regan, Samantha Ross, Amy Warren, and Frank Wood. The play won the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2008 Tony Award among numerous other honors.
