Souvenir, Stephen Temperley's play about singer/socialite Florence Foster Jenkins, will close at the Lyceum Theatre on Sunday, January 8. As of that date, it will have played 10 previews and 70 performaces.

Directed by Vivian Matalon, the show stars Tony Award winner Judy Kaye as Jenkins, a real-life figure who fancied herself a talented classical soprano but was actually tone deaf, and Donald Corren as her accompanist, Cosme McMoon. Souvenir previously played an extended engagement at the York Theater.

In his TheaterMania review of the production, David Finkle wrote: "Audiences will laugh so hard at all this that they'll cry, but they may ultimately shed tears for other reasons. This is a testament to Jenkins and to Judy Kaye's masterful performance."
