Monty Python's Spamalot
(© Joan Marcus) | Monty Python's Spamalot will close at the Shubert Theatre on January 11, 2009 after a run of 1,574 regular performances and 35 previews. The show had originally announced a closing date of January 18.
The show has a book by Eric Idle and a score by Eric Idle and John DuPrez. It is directed by Mike Nichols, with choreography by Casey Nicholaw. The show won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The current cast features Michael Siberry, Clay Aiken, David Hibbard, Tom Deckman, Rick Holmes, Bradley Dean, Robert Petkoff, Wally Dunn, and Merle Dandridge.
