Letts Do It!
Pulitzer Prize winner Tracy Letts discusses his new Broadway play Superior Donuts and the national tour and film versions of August: Osage County.
Simply put, Tracy Letts is one of the most popular and acclaimed playwrights in America. His new play Superior Donuts, which originated at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, opened earlier this month at Broadway's Music Box Theatre with Michael McKean and Jon Michael Hill in the leads, while his Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning work August: Osage County recently embarked on a national tour (starring Estelle Parsons) and is heading soon to the big screen with Letts writing the screenplay. TheaterMania recently spoke with Letts about these two extraordinary works.
