Full Cast Set for Yellow Brick Road Not Taken Benefit

Full casting has been announced The Yellow Brick Road Not Taken, a benefit that will be held in conjunction with the fifth anniversary celebration of the Broadway musical Wicked, which will take place on Monday, October 27 at 7:30pm at the Gershwin Theatre. Matt Lenz will direct the benefit, which will feature musical direction by Ben Cohn. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the New York Restoration Project.

The show will feature former Wicked stars Shoshana Bean, Stephanie J. Block, Michelle Federer, Kendra Kassebaum, Kate Reinders, and Jennifer Laura Thompson, along with special guests Ashanti, Joy Behar, Mario Cantone, Buck Henry, Mark Indelicato, Daniel Reichard, Matthew Settle, and George Wendt.

In addition, the benefit will include current cast members P.J. Benjamin, Cristy Candler, Ben Liebert, Timothy Britten Parker, Sonshine Allen, Jerad Bortz, Adam Fleming, Anthony Galde, Kristen Leigh Gorski, Reed Kelly, Kenway Hon Wai K. Kua, Kyle Dean Massey, Lindsay K. Northen, Robert Pendilla, Amanda Rose, Heather Spore, CJ Tyson, Brian Wanee, Jonathan Warren, Katie Webber, Robin Wilner, and Samantha Zack.

Wicked composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz and book writer Winnie Holzman will share some of the scenes and songs from early drafts of the musical blockbuster, which is based on Gregory Maguire's novel of the same name.
