The much-anticipated revival of A Chorus Line opened on October 5 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, and a new generation of stars was born. Seen here celebrating at the post-show bash at Tavern on the Green are cast members James T. Lane, Ken Alan, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Brad Anderson, Chryssie Whitehead, Alisan Porter, Charlotte d'Amboise, Jeffrey Schecter, Michael Paternostro, Paul McGill, Natalie Cortez, Mara Davi, and Jason Tam.

D'Amboise, who gives a sensational performance as Cassie, gets a congratulatory kiss from Michael Berresse, who plays choreographer (and Cassie's ex-lover) Zach.

The opening was attended by many cast members from the 1975 production, including Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie (the first Cassie) and good pal Thommie Walsh (who played Bobby).

Kelly Bishop, who won a Tony for her brilliant performance as the acerbic Sheila in the original Chorus Line, reunited with the still-magnificent Priscilla Lopez, who earned a Tony nomination for her work as Diana ("Nothing") Morales.

Some of New York's most beloved celebrities came out for the opening. Among them were the one-and-only Liza Minnelli (who's shooting a new episode of Law & Order), seen here with friend Jason Drew...
