New York metro area public TV station WLIW21 will present the premiere of The Story of "Burn the Floor", a behind-the-scenes performance documentary of the dance show currently playing Broadway's Longacre Theatre, to be broadcast on Wednesday, September 16 at 9pm.

Creator/director/choreographer/world champion dancer Jason Gilkison and producer Harley Medcalf will be live in the studio. The documentary chronicles the Latin and Ballroom dance spectacular from its inception through to its newest production on Broadway, and will include historical performance footage, highlights from the live show, and on-the-road and backstage interviews with Medcalf, Gilkison, executive producer Peta Roby, and past and current members of the cast and crew.
