Francesca Faridany and Jeffrey Kuhn to Join Broadway's 39 Steps

Directed by Maria Aitken, the play is a comedic take on Hitchcock's 1935 classic thriller of the same name about a man who is forced by a mysterious woman's death into a cross-country race for his life. The play is adapted by Patrick Barlow, based on an original concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon and on the book by John Buchan. The play won the 2007 Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, as well as two Tony Awards, and two Drama Desk Awards.
The cast also stars Arnie Burton (Man #2) and Sam Robards (Richard Hannay). The creative team includes Peter McKintosh (sets and costumes), Kevin Adams (lighting), and Mic Pool (sound).
Kuhn's Broadway credits include Assassins, Wicked, Monty Python's Spamalot, and Ragtime. Faridany appeared in The Homecoming on Broadway and The Stronger Off-Broadway.
