The production, to be directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, will open officially on November 17.
The play follows three men in a junk shop who plot to steal a rare, valuable nickel. The show's 1977 Broadway production earned three Tony Award nominations, including one for star Robert Duvall, while a 1983 Broadway revival featured Al Pacino in the leading role.
Osment, who will make is Broadway debut, is best known for starring in The Sixth Sense, for which he received an Oscar nomination. Cedric starred in the film version of The Honeymooners and will be soon on the big screen in Cadillac Records. Leguizamo has appeared twice on Broadway in his solo shows, Freak and Sexaholic.
