Ghostlight Record's original Broadway cast album for the musical Next to Normal, currently at the Booth Theatre, is now ranked #1 on Billboard's Cast Album Chart.

The recipient of three 2009 Tony Awards - including Best Score, Best Orchestrations, and Best Actress in a Musical -- the show features music by Tom Kitt and book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey. Directed by Michael Greif, it stars Alice Ripley, J. Robert Spencer, Jennifer Damiano, Kyle Dean Massey, Adam Chanler-Berat, and Louis Hobson.

The album was also ranked #21 of all albums on the Digital Chart and #103 of all albums in the Top 200 Chart. It was recorded in New York City on February 11 and 12, with Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records President Kurt Deutsch, Joel Moss and David Stone producing, and Tom Kitt co-producing.
