Peter Eyre, Geraldine James, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, et al. to Join Jude Law in Broadway Hamlet

Full casting has been announced for The Donmar Warehouse production of Hamlet, starring Jude Law, which will play Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre, for a 12-week engagement beginning September 12, with an opening set for October 6. Michael Grandage will direct.

The production is currently playing a sold-out West End run at Wyndham's Theatre, to be followed by a special August engagement at Elsinore Castle in Denmark.

Law, who plays the title role, will be joined by Ross Armstrong (Cornelius), Harry Attwell (Guildenstern), Ron Cook (Polonius, 1st Gravedigger), Ian Drysdale (Osric), Peter Eyre (Ghost of Hamlet's Father, Player King), Jenny Funnell (Player Queen), Michael Hadley (Barnardo, Priest, Captain), Colin Haigh (Member of the Court), Sean Jackson (Reynaldo), Geraldine James (Gertrude), Gwilym Lee (Laertes), James Le Feuvre (Member of the Court), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Ophelia), John MacMillan (Rosencrantz), Kevin R. McNally (Claudius), Henry Pettigrew (Marcellus, 3rd Player, 2nd Gravedigger,), Matt Ryan (Horatio), Alan Turkington (Francisco, Fortinbras, 4th Player) and Faye Winter (Member of the Court).

The design team is headed by Christopher Oram, with lighting designer Neil Austin, and composer and sound designer Adam Cork.
