The Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's Desire Under the Elms will close on Sunday, May 24 almost two months ahead of schedule, due to poor ticket sales.

The production, which originated at Chicago's Goodman Theatre, is directed by Robert Falls and features Brian Dennehy, Carla Gugino, Pablo Schreiber, Boris McGiver, Daniel Stewart Sherman, and Michael Laurence.

The creative team includes Walt Spangler (set design), Ana Kuzmanic (costumes), Michael Phillipi (lighting), and Richard Woodbury (original music and sound).
