Will Chase will join the cast of Broadway's Rent as Roger on May 5 and Eden Espinosa will take over the role of Maureen on May 30.

Chase recently starred in the Signature Theatre production of Kiss of the Spider Woman and has appeared on Broadway in such shows as High Fidelity and Aida. Espinosa is best known for playing Elphaba in the Broadway, L.A., and national companies of Wicked.

Written by Jonathan Larson, Rent won four Tony Awards in 1996, including Best Musical, as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It is scheduled to close on September 7. The cast also includes Adam Kantor as Mark, Michael McElroy as Collins, Justin Johnston as Angel, Rodney Hicks as Benny, and Tamyra Gray as Mimi.

RE: Will Chase and Eden Espinosa to Join Broadway's Rent

Hopefully Eden will humanize maureen again. The blonde girl thats been playing her recently soiled the role by turning her into a dumb blonde caricature! Shes been unwatchable....
