On Thursday night, the Roundabout Theatre Company opened its revival of Christopher Hampton's Les Liaisons Dangereuses at the American Airlines Theater. Celebrating after the show were stars Ben Daniels and Laura Linney with director Rufus Norris.

Kristine Nielsen, who plays Madame de Volanges, was greeted by her Crazy Mary co-star, the great Sigourney Weaver.

Mamie Gummer, who plays the virginal Cecile, got a hug from film star Leelee Sobieski.

Ensemble member Nicole Orth-Pallavicini was joined by sister Karen Akers, who opens her new show Move On at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room on May 14.

Opening night guests included the hilarious Tracey Ullman, whose Showtime series State of the Union just got renewed for a second season.

Canterbury's Law star Julianna Margulies starred in Norris' Broadway production of Festen.

Philip Bosco -- who will star in a benefit performance of Love Letters on May 18 -- gave a brilliant performance as Linney's father in the Oscar-nominated film The Savages.

On Wednesday night, George Stevens Jr.'s solo drama Thurgood opened at the Booth Theatre with Laurence Fishburne -- joined here by wife Gina Torres -- as the late Supreme Court justice Thurgood Marshall.

Maria Bello, who co-starred with Fishburne in 2005's Assault on Precinct 13, was among the first-nighters.

Producer Jamie deRoy was joined by country singing legend -- and former Broadway star -- Larry Gatlin.

Donna Murphy, who will headline the Pamela's First Musical benefit on May 18, was in attendance.

Here's the fabulous Cicely Tyson, who once played another of America's great civil rights pioneers, Rosa Parks.

Leslie Uggams will return to the stage as Lena Horne in the Pasadena Playhouse's production of Stormy Weather.

PBS talk show host Charlie Rose was among the opening night crowd.

Xanadu stars Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson are a welcome addition to any event.
