PHOTO FLASH: Corbin Bleu Receives Portrait at Tony’s Di Napoli

On Tuesday night, March 16, Corbin Bleu, currently starring in Broadway’s In The Heights, had his portrait added to the Wall of Fame at Tony’s Di Napoli on West 43rd Street.

Bleu played basketball player Chad in the television incarnations of High School Musical and the 2008 feature film. His other screen credits include Catch That Kid and Free Style. Also a recording artist, Bleu released his second solo album, Speed of Light, earlier this year.

In the Heights focuses on the tight-knit community at the top of the island of Manhattan and the hopes and dreams of three generations as they struggle to forge an identity in a neighborhood on the brink of transition. The cast also includes Andréa Burns as Daniela, Janet Dacal as Nina, David Del Rio as Sonny, Marcy Harriell as Vanessa, Christopher Jackson as Benny, Priscilla Lopez as Camila, Olga Merediz as Abuela Claudia, and Rick Négron as Kevin.
