Macbeth to Move Into Broadway's Lyceum on March 28

Rupert Goold's production of William Shakespeare's Macbeth, with Patrick Stewart in the title role, will play Broadway's Lyceum Theater, March 28-May 24, with an official opening on April 8. The show will conclude its current run at BAM on March 22.

The cast features Michael Feast as Macduff, Kate Fleetwood as Lady Macbeth, and Martin Turner as Banquo, as well as Oliver Birch, Ben Carpenter, Polly Frame, Scott Handy, Sophie Hunter, Hywel John, Christopher Knott, Niamh McGrady, Bill Nash, Christopher Patrick Nolan, Mark Rawlings, and Tim Treloar.

The show is nominated for five Olivier Awards, which will be bestowed on Sunday, March 9. Stewart has already received the Evening Standard Award for Best Actor and the Critics Circle Theatre Award for Best Shakespearean Performance for this production. Goold received both the Evening Standard and Critics Circle Theatre Awards for Best Director.
