Seattle Theatre Group and Seattle Repertory Theatre are set to present the national tour of War Horse, February 13-24, 2013 at Seattle Theatre Group's Paramount Theatre, according to The Seattle Times.

War Horse, Nick Stafford's adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's book of the same name, is set during World War One. When Albert's beloved horse Joey is sold to the cavalry and shipped to France, Albert, not old enough to enlist, embarks on a treacherous mission to bring him home.

War Horse won the 2011 Tony Award for Best Play for its Broadway production at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre, and will begin a national tour in June.
