The Broadway revival cast of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire met the press Tuesday, February 28 at the Pershing Square Signature Center. Emily Mann directs the production, which will play the Broadhurst Theatre, April 3-July 22, with an opening on Sunday, April 22.
The production stars Blair Underwood as Stanley, Nicole Ari Parker as Blanche, Daphne Rubin-Vega as Stella, and Wood Harris as Mitch, with Amelia Campbell, Carmen De Lavallade, Aaron Clifton Moten, Jacino Taras Riddick, Matthew Saldivar, and Count Stovall.
The creative team will feature Terence Blanchard (original music), Camille Brown (choreography), Eugene Lee (set design), Edward Pierce (lighting design), Paul Tazewell (costume design), and Mark Bennett (sound design).
