Bean, Espinsosa, Graae, Hilty, Worley, et al. Set for LA Defying Inequality Benefit

As previously announced, the New York and Chicago companies of the musical Wicked will host separate Defying Inequality benefits, to be held in support of Empire State Pride Agenda, Equality California, Garden State Equality, and Vermont Freedom to Marry Task Force, four non-profit charitable organizations working to legislate equality and protect civil rights for the gay and lesbian community.
The New York benefit will take place at the Gershwin Theatre, Monday January 12 at 7pm. The event will feature current cast members as well as Wicked alumni Marty Thomas, Brandi Chavonne Massey, Ben Cameron, and Kathy Deitch. The evening will also include performances by The Glamazons, Mimi Imfurst, Eve Starr, Kelly King, Ari Gold, Steven Skeels, and others. To purchase tickets, click here.
The Chicago benefit will be held at Park West on Monday, January 12 at 8 pm. Along with cast members from Wicked, the evening will also feature cast members from Chicago's Jersey Boys, the national tour of Grease, members of Second City, the Chicago Gay Men's Chorus, and other special guests. According to press notes, Defying Inequality, "will support Wicked's theme of acceptance and illuminate the musical's message that people should not be judged on first impressions."
