Zoe Lister-Jones will play the role of Ellen in The Little Dog Laughed for the final two weeks of the show’s Broadway run at the Cort Theater, staring on February 6.

The actress created the role in Second Stage’s Off-Broadway production of Douglas Carter Beane’s comedy earlier this year. She succeeds Ari Graynor, who is leaving before the show’s February 18 closing to fulfill a previously scheduled commitment.

In addition to The Little Dog Laughed, Lister-Jones’ theater credits include her one-woman show Codependence is a Four-Letter Word, which she performed at P.S.122. She has been seen in such films as Goyband, The Marconi Brothers, and Day Zero, and on television in such shows as The Class, Law & Order, and Kidnapped.

Directed by Scott Ellis, The Little Dog Laughed also stars Tom Everett Scott, Julie White, and Johnny Galecki. The production has set design by Allen Moyer, costume design by Jeff Mahshie, lighting design by Donald Holder, and sound design by Lewis Flinn.
