I had relatives in from out of town and they were desperate to see this show. I was not. I knew the flimsy story from the movie and the music and had hoped that the Broadway geniuses would have transformed it into something worthwhile but I was wrong. It's a greatest hits album that gets shoe-horned into a sitcom. Songs that as a whole have nothing to do with the story are used because their opening lines fit. So why not just say the opening line and then move on. Instead we have to listen to the whole song which detracts from the story. Most telling for me was that the Russian tourists behind me carried on conversations during the dialogue and only stopped talking during the songs. It's like they were a someone's house listening to an old record. They weren't interested in the story.

This a a really great sow with amazing performances....And of course the Music will get you rolling....
I see it at least once a summer! Its a great time out with family/friends! Will have you dancing in the aisles!
Even though it is not one of the best shows on broadway it is so up beat that you cannot help but like it.
I was never an ABBA fan, but I totally love Mamma Mia. Ive seen it three times and I just want to dance and sing the whole show. Went with my teenage son the last time and he loved it too! What a shocker! I got tickets for half price DestinationCoupons.com. Check it out.
Avery fun show, not the best in the world. But if youre looking to have a good time, and not quality, then see this.
I live in New Jersey and seen this show in las vegas. funny... went on vacation and got tickets in vegas.. Great show...love to see it again..
My wife and daughter loved the show. I liked the energy and the music myself. The ending act was a big surprise to me. I had to laugh seeing the men in their so-called Kiss outfits; platform boots and shiny attire. The big letdown to me was the singing by the suspect dad of the daughter; her moms groom. My daughter had seen the movie, hated it, and thought the Bway show was so much better. Overall, we would recommend it.

Act 2 was a little sad, but overall this show was hilarious, fast-paced, and the music was great! My favorite song was Voulez-Vouz!
the music is great, the story is fun i saw it three times each time it was great much better than the movie
Mamma Mia for the most part is a fun and entertaining musical! Enjoyed the cast, set and music but it seemed slow at times. I found myself disengaged during several of the songs.
Thought the musical was terrific. My 11 yr old loved it, and I thought it was VERY appropriate for her. The movie that followed was a disappointment and I love Meryl Streep.
Mamma Mia has to be my favorite musical of all time. Its has a fan story and the costumes are fabulous and the actors are awesome. Carolee Carmello is a fantastic Donna. Plus It is packed with ABBA music and they played all my favorites. I wanted to join them on stage by the end of the show.
