WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Helen Hunt, John Turturro, Linda Emond, and Brent Spiner star in Life (x) 3. Henri and Sonia are putting their son to bed when an unexpected knock at the door throws them into disarray. Hubert and Ines have arrived for dinner, a day earlier than expected. The play blends cruel observations with high comedy in a hilarious and poignant examination of our most personal intimacies and private longings. Matthew Warchus directs Yasmina Reza's play, translated by Christopher Hampton.
$30 student rush tickets are available at the box office two hours prior to each performance. Tickets are limit one per valid high school or college I.D., cash only, subject to availability.

Theater depends on illusion, and Yasmina Reza is one of today's foremost illusionists; that is to say, she writes plays that give the illusion of being about something.
In her most successful piece, Art, she expounds on male friendship but actually has very little enlightenment to offer on the subject. She is, however, extremely funny as she guides audiences on the journey to nowhere. The starting-off point of that work is an all-white painting that one of the three characters has purchased for something like $40,000.
