WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

This musical adaptation of Victor Hugo's classic novel has become an international sensation and a must-see for tourists and locals alike. With a huge cast and a haunting score, Les Misérables beautifully tells the epic story of Jean Valjean, a man in search of personal redemption, and the many people he encounters in his travels. Set in 19th century France, the tale follows Valjean as he tries to right his past wrongs, all the while being pursued by Inspector Javert. The two men are in a constant battle of wits and wills, and soon both find themselves in the middle of a revolution, the aftermath of which will determine all their fates.

After a lengthy Broadway run, the show closes on May 18, 2003.

May be inappropriate for ages 13 and under. Children ages 4 and under are not permitted in the theater.

And even on this, my seventh viewing of Les Miserables, the glory of these lives so unselfishly lived has the capacity to bring tears of uplift and joy.

Even as we are moved by the grandeur of Hugo's story, [...]
