what happened?
I saw the show in August of last year, and I thought it was wonderful. Then I saw it again in November, and Douglas and Kelsey were both great again. But I noticed they were lucky enough to have that secretary from Moonlighting in the cast. I really didnt notice Mme. Dindon when I saw it in August, in fact I dont remember anything about her, but I thought Ms Beasley really made her something special. The Cagelles were fantastic. And Fred Applegate was great as Deputy Dindon again. I just saw it two nights ago, again. I dont know what they are doing. Its nothing like it was. Harvey is Harvey, A.J. Shively and Elena Shaddow are fantastic. Perfect. and Chris Hoch is as always, great at every role he plays, but who is the goon playing Dindon? One note. He should be the silent one sitting on the fishermans table. Luckily Ms Beasley rises above his energy. And once again, the Cagelles are great.

Good show. TERRIBLE SEATS. HORRIBLE MANAGER
Show is worth seeing... as reviews prior also indicate. However... we had row B right orchestra aisle... tickets were not cheap... but I figured... hey, its the first row after what they call "cabaret seating".... so maybe its worth it. well! the chairs of the table infront of us... were literally on top of our laps! we were so squeezed in we could barely even move! my poor husband had to sit sideways. forget the fact that the people infront of us had blocked the view and we had to constantly move side to side to see the stage. I looked around to see if there were other seats to perhaps move to but on the orchestra level it was all full. I certainly wouldnt want to pay full price and seat on the mez.level. so i didnt say anything. at the end of the play I politely asked to be pointed to the manager. I figured if nothing else, they should try to correct this for the next people who buy these seats. when i went up to the manager and explained the situation, he rudely looks at me and with an angry tone and look of "i cant be bothered" he says/yells: why are you telling me NOW! you should have told me before. all reviews on the web are positive about these seats and you are complaining. then he walks away! my response was "im only saying it so that you can correct the problem and as a manager you should not be reacting in this manner... even if there is nothing you can do the least you can say is Im sorry you had a bad experience but I wish you had told me earlier to see if I can help!... His response? He pulls his pined tag that says MANAGER and throws it at me saying: YOU TRY BEING THE MANAGER THEN! I was so so so annoyed! HORRIBLE, RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL manager! This is what theater going has come down to? Please! These are not $20 txs! if they expect us to pay high prices... then they should provide a quality experience! Im spreading this review .... and calling AMEX to complain! Bottom line, avoid ROW B!
