this was a very good show with good performances especially Evan Jonigkeit. i am glad i got to see it before the closed. while i loved Turners voice she sometimes slurred her words together making it difficult to understand. I wonder if this show would have been able to run longer if they had selected an off-broadway address.

SAD, Sad, sad...

This is sad news, HIGH closes April 24! Surely, i would love seeing it again before it closes. To me, this is one of the best, most meaningful, memorable plays to have opened in recent years, but the critic have spoken: God is not welcomed on Broadway! Hey, thats what its all about. But since He can not be attacked, lets say, the play sucked, the acting was not good. So sad. I repeat what I previously said, no retractions, only time will tell: Kathleen Turner, Evan Jonigkeit, Stephen Kunken: A fabulous cast, great show. Looking forward to reading the excellent reviews. This show will run a long time and win many, many awards! More can be said, but not needed. Evan is a surprise, a treasure, for sure we will be seeing more of this very talented actor!

Excellent!

Four of us went and we all pretty much loved it! Its a great role for her - and a satisfying theater experience. Very strong writing, story, acting - plus great stage design. Top notch and deserves to stick around for a while. So go! Youll enjoy.

Bravo to HIGH!

Kathleen Turners performance as Sister Jamison who counsels recovering addicts, such as the 19 year old hustler in a combative session between the strong minded nun and confused young man. Ms Turner gives a powerful performance as well as the rest of the cast

Powerful and Shocking!

All I can say is: GO! Turner is at her best and her co-stars are also high on the list of fine actors on Broadway this season. This play is intense--from the very beginning you will be glued to the story and amazing acting on stage. And, finally, this is one play that will force you to thinking and and rethinking for days.

Worth it for Kathleen Turner

Even if the story which is very sad, but with an surprising amount of humor doesnt grab you, go for Kathleen Turners performance as a cursing, formerly addicted, nun.

High is definitely worth seeing

I had no clue how powerful, dramatic, funny at times or the emotional roller coaster High would take the audience on. Kathleen Turners portrayal of the "rogue" nun was so realistic. Evan Jonigkeit who played Cody Randall was spell binding. I felt like he really was a drug addict. A story that takes many twist and turns. Glad I saw it and wouldnt at all be surprised of a tony nomination or two!
