This Tony Award-winning new musical, based on the life of groundbreaking African composer, performer and activist Fela Anikulapo Kuti, is directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Bill T. Jones, with a book by Jim Lewis and Jones. The winner of the Tony Awards for Best Choreography, Best Costumes and Best Sound, as well as the Outer Critics Circle and Astaire Awards for Best Choreography and the Lucille Lortel Awards for Best Choreography and Best Musical, Fela! was conceived by Tony Award-winner Bill T.
