One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

Steppenwolf Theatre Company is proud to bring One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest to Broadway. Steppenwolf co-founder Gary Sinise stars as McMurphy, a brash new inmate who tries to disrupt the strict program at a mental hospital. Confronted by head Nurse Ratched (played by Amy Morton), McMurphy uses insubordination as his weapon in an attempt to overthrow her tyrannical ways. Patients watch in awe and terror as the two battle each other for control. This drama is a powerful exploration of the danger and beauty of being an original.
