WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The Roundabout Theater Company presents Patrick Marber's After Miss Julie, directed by Mark Brokaw.

Film and stage star Sienna Miller stars in the production, which transposes August Strindberg's 1888 play about sex and class to an English country house on the eve of Labour's historic landslide in 1945. The cast also includes Jonny Lee Miller and Marin Ireland.

Excellent show
I had the pleasure of seeing After Miss Julie last Saturday afternoon. The cast is terrific, and the play is both well-written and well-directed. Definitely recommended.

I thought Patrick Marbers new version of August Strindbergs drama was wonderful and thought provoking material but was entirely unimpressed by what both Sienna and Jonny Lee Miller did with that material. They absolutely did NOT captivate or engage me in any way. Skip this production. If there was an intermission I would have left.
