WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Billy Crystal makes his Broadway debut in 700 Sundays, performed and written by Crystal, and directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff. This autobiographical journey is an original two-act play in which Billy plays numerous characters that have influenced who he is today. It deals with his youth, growing up in the jazz world of Manhattan, his teenage years, and finally adulthood. It is about family, and fate. It is hilarious, personal, and touching as he takes us through moments of love, laughter and loss. Winner of the 2005 Tony for Best Special Theatrical Event, as well as the 2005 Drama Desk Award and the 2005 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Solo Performance.
