About This Venue
The Boston Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization which seeks to sustain artists seriously engaged in the advancement of an artistic discipline.
In 1965, the Boston Redevelopment Authority proposed that a 120,000-square foot parcel of land in the South End of Boston be designated a cultural arts center. The BCA was designated the developer.
The BCA is home to several performance spaces including the Cyclorama, Mills Gallery, two rehearsal spaces, the BCA Theater, the Black Box Theater and the Leland Center.
