WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Boston Art Theatre presents its inaugural production of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya (Finita La Comedia), adapted and directed by Robert Kropf.
Set on the Serebriakov farm, the play is a tale of obsessive love, relentless regret and the stranglehold of class. Arguably Chekhov's greatest achievement in the dramatic form, the text is economically & savagely illuminated with an actor driven production - as preposterous as it is profound.
