Synopsis

Wheelock Family Theatre presents The Phantom Tollbooth, by Norton Juster and Sheldon Harnick. Lyrics are by Sheldon Harnick, with music by Arnold Black. James P. Byrne directs.

"It seems to me that almost everything is a waste of time," our bored protagonist Milo laments, but that is before the mysterious tollbooth appears in his bedroom and he is whisked away to the Land of Expectations. As confusion reigns in the kingdoms of Dictionopolis and Digitopolis, it is Milo, with watch-dog Tock, who is sent on the quest to rescue the Princesses Rhyme and Reason.

ASL interpreted Performances: Friday the 28th at 7:30pm and Sunday the 30th at 3:00pm
