Synopsis

Let Me Down Easy explores the resilience, vulnerability, and beauty of the human body. Channeling a dramatic range of interview subjects, from supermodels and athletes to doctors and survivors of the Rwandan genocide, Anna Deavere Smith will change the way we think about our bodies - bodies in motion and bodies in pain, the body politic and the body beautiful. Generous and powerful in its vision, Let Me Down Easy is a virtuosic exploration of the resourcefulness of the human spirit.
