This world premiere of a new version of Johann Strauss' operetta is presented by the Firehouse Center and Silver Productions. The musical is set in 1930s America, a period in time which closely resembles the original Vienna setting of the 1873 Vienna Stock Exchange crash. With music by Strauss, the new libretto is by Roger Jones who also directs. Music direction is provided by Paul Merrill.
