Synopsis

***The first weekend including press night will be produced at C. Walsh Theatre, 55 Temple Street, Beacon Hill, Boston. The 2nd two weekends are produced at Boston Playwrights' Theatre, 949 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston.***

Performed both at the C. Walsh Theatre at Suffolk University and at BPT, Daughter of Venus shows us a family in pain, a mother too fragile to carry the weight of her husbands desires, and a father and daughter emotionally distant to the point of despair. Sometimes the choices we make (or don't make) have vast repercussions on our world and the people we love. By the author of A Peoples History of the United States ,Marx in Soho, and Emma. Daughter of Venus is a co-production with Suffolk University and is a New England Premiere.
