Synopsis

Just in time for the 2008 elections-- Part vaudeville extravaganza, part exposé and wholly electrifying, this Tony-award winning musical reveals uneasy truths about the American Dream. An investigation into the personalities of nine individuals who attempted to assassinate a President of the United States. Assassins is Stephen Sondheim's ode to the underbelly of American history.
