Synopsis

According to Tip follows the vibrant and historically unforgettable career of Thomas P. "Tip" O'Neill, who served as Speaker of the House of Representatives for seven of President Reagan's eight years in office. In this touching play filled with humor, music, and beguiling Irish wit, audiences go back in time with Tip from his life growing up in Cambridge where he entered local politics, to the Massachusetts State House and eventually to the White House. Renowned as a great storyteller and conversationalist, famous for his words "All politics is local," Tip's life, career, and the history that he influenced made an impact on the entire world. The production is directed by Rick Lombardo.
