Jonathan Katz, stand-up comedian, animated character, and pop cult phenomenom, is a creative personality who defies definition - as an artist he wears so many different hats (some of them drawn). This elusive star of comedy, the subject of his own animated series, rarely performs locally in the Boston area. However this month he brings his own show: 75 Laughs: An Evening with Jonathan Katz -- to Jimmy Tingle's OFF BROADWAY Theater.
Fans of "Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist" will especially enjoy this original and eclectic night of humor. In addition to performing stand-up and reading from his new book, Katz will be joined onstage by his friend Tom Snyder, the co-creator of "Dr Katz" and the inventor of its unique animation style, Squigglevision. Also joining Katz is another good friend, comedian Bill Braudis, Dr. Katz's first "patient." Katz and Snyder continue to work together and the evening will also include a sneak peek at their full length animated documentary, "The Traveling Talent Show."
