IRNE Award winning actress Ramona Lisa Alexander and Lindsey McWhorter will star in Up You Mighty Race's production of In the Continuum, by Nikkole Salter and Danai Gurira. The two-hander will play the Boston Center for the Arts, September 17-October 18, with an opening on September 20.

On opposite sides of the world, Nia, a 19 year old living in Los Angeles, and Abigail, a middle class Zimbabwean newsreader find out that they are pregnant and have contacted HIV from their heterosexual partners. Over the course of a weekend, their plans to inform their partners about their diagnoses takes them on a journey towards truth, understanding, and self acceptance.

In addition to the performances, Up You Mighty Race will partner with The Bay State Banner and the Multicultural AIDS Coalition to present "Approaching AIDS through the Arts" an audience talk back series which will be held on Friday evenings during the production.
