Running Subway will present the world premiere of Judy Garland In Concert, a multimedia concert with the Boston Pops Orchestra, June 28-29, the production will be directed by Chris Giordano.
Presented on multiple screens and accompanied by the orchestra, Garland will "perform" her classic repertoire with more than two dozen of her greatest hits, including "The Trolley Song," "The Man That Got Away," and "Over the Rainbow." This presentation also incorporates rare home movies, photographs, artwork, and Garland's own reminiscences as her story progresses in song.
The creative team includes Leah Gelpe (projections), Dan Gerhard (sound), Garin Marschall (lighting), Fred Rosenberg (audio editor), and Keith Reamer (video editor) among many others.
