Varla Jean Merman, the purported love-child of Ethel Merman and Ernest Borgnine, will star in A Varla Valentine at the club Machine, on February 14 at 7pm.

Merman (aka Jeffrey Roberson) is in Boston rehearsing for Phantom of the Oprah! with Ryan Landry and the Gold Dust Orphans which opens at Machine on February 26. Her Valentine's Day show will feature songs of love and a never-ending parade of fabulous frocks.

Varla Jean Merman's previous shows include I'm Not Paying For This, Girl With A Pearl Necklace, An Act Of Love, Under A Big Top, Holiday Ham!, All Washed Up! and The Very Worst of Varla Jean Merman. She has performed around the world including the Sydney Opera House, Australia as well as Carnegie Hall and has made numerous television appearances including a recurring role on All My Children as well as special appearances on Project Runway and Ugly Betty.
