Zofia Gozynska, Karen MacDonald, and Scott Sweatt will star in New Repertory Theatre's New England premiere of Peter Sinn Nachtrieb's boom, to perform at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, February 21-March 13. Bridget Kathleen O'Leary will direct.

In the play, as an undiscovered comet hurtles towards earth, one lone scientist takes it upon himself to preserve the human race -- except the woman he has taken captive refuses to procreate, and the shelter he has built is damaged beyond repair.

The creative team will include Jarrod Bray (set), Chris Brusberg (lighting), Jennifer Guadagno (costumes), Matt Griffin (sound), and Angie Jepson (fight direction).
