Starring Boston actors Will Howell and Jason Cross, Wigger focuses on Don, a black man working in white corporate America, and Billy, a white kid from the suburbs who has found comfort and identity in the hip hop culture. While waiting for their plane to depart Logan Airport for LAX, Billy strikes up a casual conversation with Don which develops into a discourse over race, society, and the labels we force on each other in the 21st century. Wigger uses wit and intelligence to tackle subjects of identity, co-existence, culture, poverty, and tolerance. Presented by AYTB Theatre Company. No performance Sunday, February 27.
